This makes 7 NATO Member Countries that have directly stated that they would Support a NATO Peacekeeping Mission into Ukraine, these Countries are Slovenia, Czechia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and now Denmark, there are rumors that France and Slovakia would also Vote Yes.

It's a crazy idea. Inevitably some of them will be hit by Russian fire and NATO will be put into an impossible position.

I think these Countries know that, most Eastern European Countries I believe are hoping that will happen.

Am I right in thinking that this means they would place peacekeeping troops between the Russian and Ukrainian troops?
If so Putin would be delighted. I don't understand why people don't realise that Putin wants fight NATO. This would give him the pretexts.

He can have invent a pretext any time he wishes. Leaving the escalation of a conflict solely on the side of an opponent doesn't sound like a reasonable strategy, especially when the opponent fails so miserably.

Not sure if these guys understand that "peacekeeping" is not what you do in a war zone. First, you have to engage in "peacemaking" by killing all the bad guys.
Who's going to first to the ?

America needs to stop pretending this is Ukraine vs Russia! This is Ukraine vs Russia, Chechnya, Belarus, Syria, Armenia, AND more. While we send better bullets to civilians in the hopes they can use them before they starve or die by vacuum bombs... to sooth our conscience.

I’m guessing that if the US was part of this group it would trigger a much stronger response from Putin.

Lol nobody in NATO takes Germany seriously, it’s the country that gets told what to do after the fact.

It already is. Russia sees this as a fight against EU & NATO, not as a fight against Ukraine. He doesn't see Ukraine as independent from Russia, so thinks EU & NATO are stealing it to be able to attack.

I would hate to see a peace keeping mission become a pathway to the partition of Ukraine.

Vikings and Cossacks should make a rather impressive fighting force.

What is your source? There is no such announcement in any Danish news outlet or from the Ministry itself.

This shifts the onus to Putin, of he fires on a peace keeping mission, he effectively declares war on NATO. About time to draw a moral red line.

Peacekeepers protect civilians, actively prevent conflict, reduce violence, strengthen security and empower national authorities to assume these responsibilities.

From America. THANK YOU!!! Someone has got to be bold and brave with action. The world depends on it. If it’s not going to be then someone has to.
