Installation took 2 days and was difficult

Install was horrible. It took two days between work shifts and multiple trips to the hardware store. Please don't call this "EZ" Install. We ended up using a separately purchased valve adapter and compression nut & insert (pictured) that we brought separately. My home is 20 years old. I would expect a "EZ" install kit to include a few different sized adapters rather than just one size fits all. It clearly does not. As for the filtration, it is good to handle flavor issues related to chlorine usage and calcium usage in my area. It also looks nicer on the sink than one that you mount to the faucet.

As others have mentioned, this is not an "EZ" install. It takes a little doing. We were able to take other reviewers photos of completed workarounds to Menards, where a helpful employee found the same parts. I've included a photo of those pieces before use, just in case anyone needs to see them. This resolved the 3/8s issue that so many reviewers are having.
The water is remarkably better. We have well water that I don't mind drinking but it's horrible on our appliances. (Humidifiers, coffee pots, etc.) I've also included a photo of the water from our faucet versus the filtration system. You can see the difference for yourself.
Overall, this is a worthwhile system. If you don't have the hookup they expect you to have (you probably don't) then you'll have to get clever.
