SPRINTER Ailis McSweeney gave an impromptu 'Love/Hate'-style chase through a Dublin apartment block yesterday when a thug on a bike stole her mobile phone.
The Cork athlete, who is married to Dublin player and former captain Bryan Cullen, was at Croke Park for Dublin's victory in the All-Ireland semi-finals but had her phone stolen outside the grounds.
The holder of the Irish 100-metre sprint record gave chase but failed to catch the thief, saying her handbag slowed her down.
Ms McSweeney, who married Mr Cullen earlier this year, tweeted shortly after 6.30pm: "Phone stolen from my hand by a scumbag on a bike when walking out from the game. Gave decent chase thro (through) an apartment block Love Hate style".
She added she was "so mad", and claimed: "Handbag slowed me down".
