02/03/2012Dear Patti and Pam and your families, What a precious lady we have lost. I think of her so often and will continue to cherish those special memories we shared. Everytime I eat a french fry and dip it into my ice cream, I think of your sweet Mom. She has to be the only person I knew that enjoyed such a "delicious" but mabye strange treat. We had a lot of fun times we shared and that is why I grew to love her so much. Whether it was along side of her in the trenches volunteering or watching her elegance stream across the runway during a fashion show,Betty exuded that confidence and grace and that ever warming smile that made you feel you were the "only one" that mattered. Thanks for sharing her. What a tremendous giving heart. We have all truly lost a very special lady that I dare say not many measure up to. Mom and I will chersih her friendship forever, but be happy now that she is with her Hamp, her Lord, and is free.

02/02/2012Heaven has gained an elegant lady. She had a heart for service and a gift for spreading joy. She fought a good fight with dignity. I will always remember her with great fondness and respect. Becki Baird, Manager of Volunteers at Memorial Hermann Southwest.
