I am making this post to give an idea to the people that know how to modify macOS, Big Sur UI is horrendous IMO, with very ugly icons and cartoony UI elements like the buttons inside apps like Finder.

I think it might be possible to make macOS look great again, I have seen that XRevert could make Yosemite look skeuomorphic, so this must be possible. This is very important to me because I just refuse to start using M1 Macs due to this terrible change, macOS is supposed to have an amazing UI that's very intuitive, but this just completely ruins macOS and makes me go back to Windows 10.

My name is Lee Jackson, and I am the former Music and Sound Director for 3D Realms Entertainment. As such, it was my job during the period of Shadow Warrior development to direct voice acting sessions with the actors we chose for the roles in that game, including the actor playing Lo Wang, the late Mr. John William Galt.

Mr. Galt was selected by the higher ups at 3D Realms based on audition tapes submitted through a third party. Candidates were given lines selected by said higher ups and were asked to read them in an "Asian accent." The higher ups apparently liked Mr. Galt's performance and accent better than those of any of the other candidates.

What the higher ups did not know at the time, and what I found out later, was that Mr. Galt was not "making fun" of Asian speech when he read his lines. On the contrary. You see, Mr. Galt was associated with the American military in Japan for a period of time, during which he became a student of the martial art of Hapkido. While it is true that he did not become fluent in Japanese during his stay, he did learn enough about the culture of Japan through his study of Hapkido to gain a healthy respect for things Japanese, which he professed to me when we talked after our recording sessions.

I will be the first to admit that Mr. Galt and I did our best to inject humor into each recording session. Mr. Galt had a quick wit, almost on par with the late, great Jonathan Winters in my opinion. However, at no time during our sessions did either of us mean disrespect toward any Asian people or culture. On my part, I personally immersed myself in Japanese culture during Shadow Warrior development, especially in music and anime, and I gained a respect for it that has lived with me to this day. I believe that Mr. Galt already had that respect, and that he did his best to deliver the lines given to him for each recording session by the higher ups at 3D Realms while maintaining that respect as well as possible. The humor we did inject was usually self-deprecating, aimed at Lo Wang himself (if memory serves), and often Lo Wang would get his comeuppance at the hands of an enemy or an "Anime Girl" (see also "Lo Wang's Rap," a composition of mine, specifically the second half of the song).

I do not know if this "behind the scenes" look is going to change anyone's mind about Mr. Galt, or if it's going to make anyone think less about myself for that matter. On the latter count, I do not mind one way or the other. The truth must be told. I really do hope, though, that people will not fault Mr. Galt for his performance as Lo Wang. He is not guilty of any crimes by association. His performance was was a great one from my first-hand point of view, and I have never worked with a finer vocal talent ever again (save for Jon St. John, whom I did not directly work with). Please understand at least that, and try to understand where we were coming from back in the mid-90s, when we kept our cool and did our best to maintain respect.

@Tom Davies You really think that the worth of ideas comes from the people who espouse them, don't you? That my own limitations mean the ideas themselves must not be worthy of consideration? I may have a weak body, yes, and my worth is minimal, but I absolutely do not need to concede the appalling fiction that people in my state, myself included, should be accommodated. However, to maintain your moral high ground, you have to argue otherwise: you have to try to, as it were, save me from myself, at least to the extent that my ideas will bring harm to others. But you clearly don't want to do that, so you can't claim the morally superior position that you think you have. In other words, Tom Davies, you can't "stoop to my level" as it were. But you did. ;)

As an aside, the distasteful, para-masturbatory imagery might pass for sophistication at your third-rate state university, but it has little purchase elsewhere. And the "point" of the story, to those who pay attention, is that the world would be much better off if we did, in fact, have a North American Reich, regardless of how much Semitic chicanery we have to endure to the contrary.

That said, as to stooping, well, good try but no. My point was that surely, by your lights, you should not be taken seriously, which puts you in a rather paradoxical position. You have to argue that you are competent and worthwhile enough to advance substantive arguments about the role of the state, but not sufficiently worthwhile to be kept alive. Incidentally the actual Nazis historically did denigrate ideas on the basis of their origins quite often. The liberal idea that ideas and arguments can be separated from who advanced them is not one that had much cache in a state where Jewish books were burnt, professors stopped from teaching, and so forth.

I mean I don't blame him, a good percentage of the species on earth have to place an external organ into each other's acidic, possibly bacteria infested internal organ until the first person produces a liquid filled with microscopic cells that mix with the second person's cells, just so that the cell mixture will grow inside the internal organ and feeds on what the carrier consumes until it's time for it to tear through the organ and emerge into the world as a grab bag of genes and history in one being. and we enjoy and actively seek out the mixing process.

That reminds me of an experience I had in high school. This black guy was writing some sentence in notepad.exe. He and I were partners in doing some project; he was "Blasian" (part black and part Asian). He fucking sucked at spelling words. I think he was using Notepad because I opened it and wrote some things, then maybe I told him to write some things; I don't really remember. Anyways I think we later switched to Microsoft Word and he then corrected the errors. I had his experience in the United States sometime years before 2020. It was a senior high school class, or maybe it was the year before the senior class.

^this is basically common knowledge but I will mention it anyways. MS Word has a feature that corrects spelling errors; it underlines them in a noticeable way, so if you right click on them you will probably see the word you were trying to spell, only spelled correctly.
