[高1希望者]海外研修(5) 　最後のHot Chocolate Morningの後、老人ホームを訪問し、入居者の方々と折り紙などで交流しました。折り方を英語で言えるようにあらかじめ練習してきた生徒、スピナー(コマ)やトランスフォームする手裏剣などインパクトのある作品を準備してくれた生徒もいて、盛り上がりました。その後、歌(Let it be)をピアノ伴奏付きで披露しました。練習の時は、声が小さくて心配だったのですが、本番は素晴らしかったです。入居者の方々だけでなく職員の方々にも大好評でした。午後はRCAに戻ってプレゼンの準備をし、4グループに分かれて、UBCやカーリングについて発表しました。最優秀グループ一組だけが、フェアウェルパーティーで披露することになっているのですが、今年は「どのグループも優秀」ということで、4グループ全てフェアウェルパーティーでもう一度プレゼンできました。明日は終日オフで、それぞれのホストファミリーと最後の一日を自由に過ごします。 「生徒の感想」 ◯Today I took a walk around downtown. There were many skyscraper buildings and I was surprised. It was good l was able to buy a lot of souvenirs in this wonderful city. Tomorrow we will go to a nursing home. In addition to this, there is a farewell party at RCA. I want to enjoy the rest of activities. ◯Today I went shopping. Everything is very large. My host mother made me sushi. It was very good. ◯Today we went downtown. There were many people there. I saw a few Japanese people. I bought something for my family. I didn’t have enough time for shopping. I want to go there again. ◯I took enough sleep, but overslept this morning. Today, we went to CBC and downtown. We bought many souvenirs. I look forward to giving them to my family. I played a bowling game of Wii with my host father at home. I want to take more enough sleep tomorrow than today. ◯I went downtown and CBC. It was the first time to go to the TV company. It was very nice. In downtown, I bought souvenir. I want to go there again ◯Today I made pizza and played catch with my host family’s younger sister. Making pizza was fun. Playing catch was fun too, but I felt a little tired. I want to have a good time tomorrow too. 撮影：大石 ◯I went to a senior center.  I made paper stars and cranes with origami.  I also taught people working there how to make many kinds of things with origami. ◯Today, we went to Suncreek Village.  I taught an old man how to make origami.  Then, we sang ‘Let it be’ in front of them.  In the afternoon, I made a presentation about UBC tour the day before yesterday.  It was the last ESL class.  In the farewell party, I got a certification from my teacher.  It was fun for me to have lessons for 4 days. ◯Today I went to the farm with my host family.  There are many kinds of animals.  For example, cows, horses, goat, and pigs.  These animals were very cute. ◯We went to suncreek Village.  We made origami with old people there.  I really enjoyed origami.  After that, we went Guildford Shopping center.  I bought some gifts for my friends.  This place was large and has a lot of shops.  Finally, we had the last class in RCA.
