After the pipeline “explosion” in Eastern Ukraine tonight, RIA Novosti now reports that **95 clients** were disconnected from the gas network. That’s it: ninety five clients. The name of the pipeline? It doesn’t have one. Just a small, local distribution pipe.

No, the mighty Druzhba oil pipeline isn’t anywhere near Luhansk, the city in eastern Ukraine where social media is reporting an explosion. Nowhere near (the blue dot is Luhansk). If a pipeline has explode there, isn’t Druzbha (so European supplies are no affected) #OOTT #Ukrarine

I think the significance is the intention not the attack itself. Russia could be starting to further destabilize the European energy pipelines. Just now they are reporting another explosion in Luhansk.
