Nasim Irsan is taken away after pleading guilty to a murder charge for firing the shot that killed Gelareh Bagherzadeh, 30, at the urging of his father and mother on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, in Houston. Irsan was sentenced 40 years in prison and will be eligible for parole after serving 20 years. Irsan's father, Ali Irsan, was sentenced to death for two grisly “honor killings” of Bagherzadeh and his son-in-law.
