This is part of a £1.7bn agreement signed last year between the UK and Ukraine to improve Ukrainian naval capabilities.

Anybody checked the order of battle vis à vis anti ship missiles? The UK appears to be over 10 years away from having a hypersonic anti ship option.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of I think they know what they are doing. Torpedoes & Helicopter launched light ASM kill ships. Not other ships flinging 100’s of miles. Some shipping container launchers of Sea Venom can deter a landing though. MBDA proved that launch concept 5 years ago.

Yes. This is very likely Brimstone / Sea Spear. According to a Ukrainian Industrial Portal @ua_industrial report back in December - Ukraine is looking to arm "two dozen platforms of the Ukrainian Navy" with these missiles. uprom.info/news/vpk/kater

But I don't get what's wrong with good old .50 cals. Brimstones are better used to kill Russian tanks. That's what they're designed for. Apaches carried those Hellfires from the start

Thank you, but this will not help us against Kalibr/cruise missiles, since Kaliber/cruise missiles can be fired from the territorial waters of Russia itself! We need electronic warfare systems and THAAD systems.
