I do have some questions though!
How did you make the status and scroll bars dark though? Are you running this on Linux or use some kind of Windows theme? It's Default UI, right?
And what's the text display under the album cover? How did you get that nice little gradient background there?

I got the scroll bars to be dark using cakeOS with theme patcher, and yes it's DUI on win10.
For gradient background, it's in in the settings for the "lyrics panel 3" component. Basically, it lets you pick the color for 4 cornerrs of the panel and blend the rest of the panel using that 4 corners.

Edit: if you follow my instructions for installation, you should get the the same theme as mine. just so it saves you the trouble of blind finding how to do it.

I still haven’t figured out how to get album art on my system, do you have to DL each of those images per album manually?
Well just set the song's metadata to have your album art then when u play the song. Assuming u have the album art cover panel on (which is installed by default on fb). You should be able to see it. If i'm not answering your question right, could u clarify again?
How it's the add on at the right that shows information about the artist called? I would like it

Not to my knowledge, no. But if you're on the fence, try out secureuxtheme. It's a theme patcher that doesnt tamper with window files and light weight.
I love the SoundCloud progress bar, I don't know why there is no updated component
with this style of progress bar with lines like the aimp one
I have the specific frontend js to make it look like that in my mega link which also include instructions on how to install if you don't have your soundcloud bar to look like that.
Can't get the waveform seekbar to show up if I take the frontend off it shows up but if I put your frontend in there is nothing there I can still click on it but it is invisible

I have not tried but i assume that it doesn't necessarily matter as long as it works with whatever version of foobar that it works on.

In iTunes, I can simply uncheck a checkbox next to a specific song to always skip the song. How can I have a similar function in Foobar2000?
I don't want to make playlists. I'm 100% an album-listener, so I'd need a playlist for each 500+ albums in my library... which sounds like disaster.
I'd consider deleting the song, but the source files are on the NAS, where the wife/family also sources, so I'd like to avoid something that deletes/modifies the actual file.

EDIT (2/7):
I followed the advice of many, and installed Skip Component, and Quick Tagger Component. For now, I've left Skip on the default (rating=1), and made a Quick Tagger keyboard shortcut (Alt+1) to tag the song as a "1" rating. Works beautifully!
Since my wife/daughter don't touch the rating tags, editing the file itself is nice, in that the skip notations are synchronized across all my devices. Now, if they decide to want to rate, or also join in on the skipping convenience, that may have to change to a per-user tag. But for now, this works!

I have a playlist of video game music, but most of the tracks are pretty short, and are made to be listened to more than one time. I don't really want to go to the trouble of editing every single file just to get them to a decent length. Does anyone know of a way to loop a track just one time and then continue on to the next song in the playlist? I've tried looking for components but the closest thing I've found is one called "Seek" that just lets you loop portions of a song.
disclaimer i have no clue what i'm talking about and this is just an observation
BUT
something that would be really useful would be a component that automates the process of grabbing artwork from tidal and tagging with it. i say tidal because it's been the most reliable and high quality storefront for me to grab artwork from. always great quality, always 1200x1200, even had really clear pictures for more obscure stuff. i currently do it manually, but this would be something i think people would appreciate if anyone has the know how and time to automate it, i don't know how easy it would be.
I have a very large playlist that I am constantly adding to and subtracting from. It would save me a ton of time if, when pressing a letter on the keyboard, foobar would jump to the artist that starts with that letter rather than the first song that starts with that letter from whatever band I am on currently.
For example, say I just listened to a song by Lorna Shore and I wanted to copy it to another playlist, and then I want to jump down to Rings of Saturn after to copy a song from there also - but when I press "R" on the keyboard, it jumps to the song "Relentless Torment" rather than the first band that starts with the letter "R". When I press "R" again, it will jump to the next song that starts with and "R".
Hi, I bought an album on Bandcamp as I usually do and downloaded the FLAC file. When I try to play it in my Foobar setup it's distorted. The file is 2792 kbps and 96000 Hz, I use WASAPI output. I can get it to play normally with Direct Sound output. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks!

I'm setting up a 2k computer and I just realized that Foobar looks a lot different that in does in my 1920x1200 PC (with Windows 7, whereas here I have Win10).

As you can see, the band-record-song fonts are good enough, but the little artwork on the left and basically everything else in the interface are so small they're almost invisible!
The space on the left where the band-record-song-lasttimeplayed-etc. appear is also somwhat longer than it is in my other computer (where it's half big artwork and half that section, if I'm not wrong).
How can I set all this stuff?

For example if I have an album with 3 different artists contributing, the album filter still splits it by the artists instead of combining the artists under the same album.
Buttons are too small, and as I suspected I could find other people have complained about it. But none of the suggested solutions worked. Replacing the button icon with a bigger icon made no difference. Columns UI had the same button size, and plus I do not like the looks of its overall UI. I have searched for extensions, but searching the site was tedious as it had no screenshots or easy searching feature. I came closer to a conclusion that I may have to write my own UI element that has those buttons. Is that the only way? All I want is doubling the button sizes.
I used the search feature in Foobar for the first time, and it works just fine, but there is no way to clear the search bar, for if i delete all the text it seems like it thinks i am searching for a null value instead of not searching since the bar is empty.

Please tell me this is something that I am just not understanding how to do, because I cannot find anything about this anywhere
here's an example of what its like now
im using columns ui & i'd like my mousewheel to jump straight to the next project in the list rather than smoothly scrolling through the songs. i like having the artist & album names aligned at the top of the page (ex: 1st album) & scrolling doesnt always align nicely (ex: 2nd album). even bouncing between mousewheel & actually clicking the scroll bar to try & 'fine' scroll doesnt work well
so, if possible, i essentially want the album cover & text to be static & scrolling would basically replace them with the info for the next album

I am currently using the "Visualisation + Covert Art + Tabs". It is good, but some problems are that I cannot adjust the width of the left "Properties" panel, which I want to make wider. Why can't I adjust the width? Is there a way or is the width fixed? If it is the latter, it is kind of bizarre UI choice, because all similar applications support resizing panel width.
I started using foobar on my iPhone and instantly fell in love with its feature set, and when I saw you could add skins in settings I wanted to see how, but couldn't find a guide or tutorial and was wondering if anybody here knew how to?
