The ears of Elven Creatures give those creatures certain powers unique to only them. Their ears are specialized organs made to control body temperature and the flow of magic.

Physical Description

Elven Ears are a mutation of the ear, that causes the helix of the ear to grow to a point. The ear is notably larger than a normal Human's and the point can grow to four inches, depending on the species. The pointed part of the ear acts as a basin for extra, specialized magic.

Creatures like Faries, Elves, Leprechauns, and other Fae have Elven Ears.

Added Powers

Body Temperature Manipulation

Elven Ears were biologically created in order to help humanoid creatures keep their bodies warm in order to survive cooler environments. This power eventually evolved into complete control of their body temperatures, allowing them to thrive anywhere on the planet.

Restricted Visibility

All Elven Creatures have the ability to hide from other creatures via invisibility. They can choose who or what can see them. They are also able to see other invisible creatures without issue. Despite this, Oracles and other creatures that can render themselves invisible.

Mental Manipulation

Creatures in the Elf and Pixie families possess a magical quality to them that makes other creatures love them. For Elves, this effect is permanent and cannot be controlled. It is primarily used by Forest Elves to make animals like them. Vampires and Pixie-Creatures can control this effect. Fairies and Pixies tend to keep this ability at neutral. Vampires also keep this ability at neutral but can raise or even lower this effect on others.

Regeneration

Those with the Elven Ears have enhanced regenerative abilities. They are able to heal non-fatal wounds. With Fairies and Vampires, fatal wounds can be healed almost immediately.
