いや、まぁ町山氏本人が「じゃあ」って言っちゃってますから。
「勝手に断言しちゃいけませんよ」→「じゃあ…できるのか？」と流れで仮定の話を出した時点で「できないだろ？だからしても良いんだよ」と理由にしちゃってるんですよ。
