Our mission is to educate each child academically, physically, socially, and spiritually in
a Christian context. We seek to instill moral integrity within each child. Working
together as a cooperative community each child will be prepared for secondary and
higher education via a school environment that fosters love and respect for God and
others.
Our vision is to continually develop an independent Pre-K through 8th grade Catholic school that emphasizes excellence. To focus on teaching strong fundamental skills. To establish a core curriculum which also teaches children how to learn. To provide a safe learning environment that will nurture the holistic growth of all students via a Catholic-values oriented setting. To develop students so that they will go naturally into the service of helping others. To work as a community in our shared objectives to provide a Christ-centered education for our students such that they may develop their individual relationships with God while growing toward their fullest, God-given potential.
St. Anthony's wealthy family wanted him to be a great nobleman, but for the sake of Christ he became a poor Franciscan. When the remains of Saint Bernard and his companions, the first Franciscan martyrs, were brought to be buried in his church, Anthony was moved to leave the Augustinian Order, enter the Friars Minor, and go to Morocco to evangelize when he was 26 years old. Shipwrecked in Sicily, he joined some other brothers who were going to Portiuncula. He lived in a cave in San Paolo leaving only to attend Mass and sweep the nearby monastery. One day when a scheduled speaker failed to appear, the brothers pressed him into speaking. He impressed them so that he was thereafter constantly traveling, evangelizing, preaching, and teaching theology through Italy and France. A gifted speaker, he attracted crowds everywhere he went, speaking in multiple tongues; legend says that even the fish loved to listen. One of the most beloved of saints, his images and statues are found everywhere. Simple and resounding was his teaching of the Catholic Faith, so that the most unlettered and innocent might understand it. Pope Pius XII proclaimed him a Doctor of the church on January 16, 1946. St. Anthony was canonized less than one year after his death at the age of 36. St. Anthony is best known for his patronage of seekers of lost articles. Few people know that he is the patron of many other causes. He is the patron against shipwrecks, against starvation, American Indians, amputees, animals, Brazil, the elderly, expectant mothers, faith, faith in the Blessed Sacrament, fishermen, harvests, mail, mariners, oppressed people, poor people, Portugal, sailors, starving people, sterility, travel hostesses travelers, the Tigua Indians and of course, St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fresno, California.

"As a teacher, my goal is to challenge each child and give them as much attention as possible. While I am strict and expect the children to follow my rules, I am also very loving and want them to have fun. We are a family and we love one another as a family should. The most important thing is that they learn to be kind to others and develop sharing and social skills. Our children have the chance to love God our Father and one another as brothers and sisters."

I have spent most of my life down in the East Valley, Mesa and Queen Creek. We decided we wanted a more relaxed and small town atmosphere for our children, so we moved up to the White Mountains in the summer of 2018. I went to Ottawa University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. I have homeschooled my children for ten years, and my oldest are now in high school. I have been involved in teaching and aiding in religious education programs for over 20 years, including Catechesis of the Good Shephard and currently CCD at St. Rita's Church. I feel so blessed to be a part of St. Anthony's and to be able to share my passion for teaching and, at the same time, sharing the faith with students and families.
