DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a talented, word-wise UX Writer to join our highly collaborative content marketing team, supporting a product with high exposure. You will be a key point person for brand and content within the product team, working in lockstep with UX to influence product development, from copy creation and refinement to catching a typo right before a launch. Part of your role will be developing the UX writing framework and liaising between legal, UX and marketing to drive consistency across external touchpoints.

This role excels at writing, editing, and collaboration, always striving to understand our customer through data, and create the most intuitive, delightful experience on their behalf. The UX writer also needs to be adept at balancing personality and function in their approach to create a cohesive, unified experience that helps humanize the brand across every touchpoint.

Core Responsibilities:
· Work with UX to define, test and iterate UI copy across a variety of touch points and areas of the customer experience
· Work with UX research team to test and validate that content is clear and memorable.
· Develop UX writing tools and frameworks based user research and brand guidelines
· Set a scalable copy standard, and drive adherence to UX writing best practices based on industry standards, internal learnings, branding guidelines, research and data.
· Act as a conduit between UX, Legal and Marketing from a UX copy perspective to drive workflow efficiencies and consistency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of design experience
· 3+ years of experience as a UX Writer or similar role in an agency or in-house setting writing product copy for digital products spanning multiple platforms, use cases and geographies
· Proficient in English with exceptional US-based grammar and copywriting skills
· A web-based portfolio of relevant work samples with a UX focus; including problems you helped solve for, your contributions, and impact to the customer
· Experience creating copy systems, guides and frameworks
· Experience working within both apps and web experiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
· Experience working with remote teams and an international audience
· Own, develop and evangelize copy guidelines and tone of voice
· Experience driving programs related to online content strategy, content delivery tools, content taxonomy and classification, and/or the user experience with content.
· Strong bias for action in a fast-paced, metric driven environment
· Self-motivated team player, with refined and assertive leadership skills.
· The ability to influence others to set and achieve goals and deadlines.
