People 65 and over are at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19, but new variants are affecting people of all ages. Our graphic has been redesigned to reflect the ages of our current inpatients.

You may have noticed that the number of vaccinated inpatients has grown over the past couple of months and the data makes it clear: if you are 65 or over, or if you have a health condition that puts you at increased risk, you/your loved ones should take extra steps to stay safe.

If you are eligible, get your Pfizer booster. Make sure everyone is up to date on their vaccinations, mask up to stay safe in crowds, and continue to wash your hands often.

Does this chart indicate that there is a total of 83 hospitalized covid patients in the individual units?

This chart show a lot of hospitalized older people who have opted not to get vaccinated for whatever reason. We can agree or disagree with that choice, but the one thing we know for certain is we should stop messing around with kids. And stop forcing anyone to get the vaccine.
