Also the power is out. Oh, and the car was partially crushed by the tree. And house damage.

No one was hurt - but my wife was at the front door, about to walk out and get into the car that was smashed. I insisted that she look at the radar and that held her up long enough

Welcome to the club! Happened to me a couple of years ago. My fiber runs just by the tree but it was fine.
