On the the way back home, I met a revert sister going through tough times. Her name is Amira, she's homeless with 2 kids and with an abusive partner. Can you all make Dua that Allah eases her pain and hardships please inshallah. She was such a lovely person to talk to
"Would two followers please copy and re-post this tweet? I'm trying to demonstrate that someone is always there, especially at this time of year. Call 0800 689 5652 (National Suicide Prevention Helpline UK). Just two. Any two. Copy, not retweet. Let’s all look out for each other"
Me and my mum for years: "Oh no how will Ishaq learn about Islam, difficult life (cos parents divorced and disabled brother), etc etc"
Sister and her husband: *just go and actually teach him*
MashaAllah
My sister and her husband are teaching Falakuddin Ishaq how to pray and also Surah Fatiha, and this is why practical people are super cool and useful to us sentimental types mashaAllah
"Pathetic and unforgivable" is different from vassalage. And, once more though the worst, Syria is by no means the only conflict in the Muslim world on which everybody else is judged regardless of other stances.
As is well known, Pakistan has to exclusively address every oppressed Muslim's situation on earth because it can be taken seriously as a non-vassal state.
And finally, as to American intervention - the American intervention in Syria, as I'm sure you know, has been a disaster and not helped the rebels an iota. We needn't project our arguments with Assadist scumbags onto the level of governments.
Because Syria is by furlongs (perhaps along with Iraq) the bloodiest issue, people have a tendency to make a position on it the exclusive litmus test over any sort of politics. It's a closed "good enemy of perfect" mentality exactly what leftists used to do with Palestine.
Yeah, I'll have to disagree here. There's many, many other issues and the question is not remotely about Russian subservience (Pakistan wouldn't have kept supporting Taliban or, indeed, earlier Chechen/Bosnians if that was the case).
It's one thing to wish Pakistan did something productive on Syria, quite another to pretend that it has something to do with Russian vassalage. Somalia didn't talk about Russian invasion of Chechnya, but Somalia isn't a Russian vassal state either.
Has Pakistan provided any support on Syria? Pakistan doesn't speak up about France in Mali either, that doesn't make it a French vassal state. Malaysia didn't speak up about United States in Afghanistan, that doesn't make Malaysia a vassal state. Ridiculous standard to judge.
Honestly I don't think it's any different to normal diplomacy. The China case is an exception, and rightly condemned. Otherwise this is very much run-of-the-mill, welcoming a single statement (that happens to be correct regardless of the scum who said it).
Also, as no shortage of people have pointed out, girls are not banned from school - the problems in education don't stem from gender issues. The idea that isolation is cos of girls' schools is embarrassing, but not surprising for Kugelman whose mask slips a bit too often.

I doubt sanctions would be removed even if they did those things. Their main crime was embarrassing the US in how quickly they took over, and that's the main reason why the US wants to punish them. Girls' schools are a secondary issue. twitter.com/MichaelKugelma…
I agree with that, and I dont think as an ideology it correlates with Islam. But I think, like the word nationalist, it has different sorts of interpreters that vary on bases. Whereas with capitalism (riba) and communism (atheism) their contrast is very clear.

Orban aiding BiH's dissolution, openly: "Orban warned that Hungary will block any EU moves to sanction Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik for his separatist plans and said his country is providing 100 million euros in assistance to Bosnia’s Serb entity."
This blessed Jumu'ah Mubarak جمعة مبارك, I ask Allah to forgive and elevate Dr Israr Ahmed.
Perhaps one of the greatest minds to have passed through the hands of subcontinental scholarship in the 20-21st century.
May Allah raise him to Jannah.
How about we all agree that hospitals have the right to turn away unvaccinated covid patients? They have freedom of choice too right?
I’m sure the unvaccinated would have no problem with that — and it would solve a lot of problems.
