The city of Houston’s Parks Master Plan identified the west Houston area that includes the Westchase District as a park desert in great need. Westchase District’s Woodchase Park, which will have it’s grand opeining on Oct. 28, is a large step towards fulfilling that need.
The design process for Woodchase Park — which is located in the Westchase District where Woodchase Drive dead ends between Westpark Drive and Westpark Tollway — began in 2017. The construction of the park began in September 2020.
