Two years after being purchased by the city of Houston , the former Heights Transit Center at 6000 North Main will get a new life as the East Sunset Heights Park.
The nearly 1-acre tract will be renovated in about two years with the help of an $898,000 grant awarded to the Houston Parks and Recreation Department, the City of Houston announced on Wednesday.
