As a Technical Curriculum Developer at Databricks, you will assist members of the Databricks curriculum team in designing and developing learning materials in a high-tech environment. In this role, you will play an integral part throughout the full learning content development lifecycle - from helping to design content and create learning assets, through the launch and maintenance of training content. You will report to the Senior Director of Technical Curriculum Development. As a member of the Databricks Curriculum Development Team, you'll work closely with global stakeholders, technical subject-matter experts, and other technical curriculum developers to deliver high-impact learning content for both self-paced and instructor-led training. The impact you will have:

  • Collaborate with Technical Curriculum Developers in researching, scoping, designing, and developing hands-on, learner-centric content
  • Create learning assets including videos, slide decks, graphics, and hands-on technical exercises
  • Follow content design documents to build multi-modal training for Databricks partners and customers using the latest versions of Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, and Python
  • Provide support for day-to-day curriculum operations, including the management and maintenance of training materials and customer-facing technical support for training-related issues

What we look for:

  • Experience developing technical training content
  • Experience with topics related to big data analytics such as Apache Spark, data engineering, data science, machine learning, and the cloud
  • Experience with programming in SQL or Python
  • Experience comprehending new and emerging technologies
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
