実は、The fact is that〜の使い方は簡単に覚えられる

The fact is that you can easily learn how to use “The fact is that”.

“The fact is that”の”that”は”that”以下の内容を”that”でまとめたものなので、仮に”The fact is that”でも文章は完結している。

なので「The fact is that＝実はそれだ」になる。

意味としてはThe truth is that〜も同じと考えていい。
例えば、
She looks like a Japanese, the fact is that she is a Chinese.
（彼女は日本人のように見えるが、実は中国人だ。）
Although everybody thought he had died, the truth is that he’s still alive!
(みんな彼が死んだと思っていたけれど、実は生きてるんだ！)

つまりは「That is the fact =それは事実だ」

なので、冒頭の文章は以下のようにもなる。

でも、前半が長すぎて後半が短すぎるのは好まれないし、あまり言わない。しかし、実は記事とかやや難しいテストでは前半が長すぎる文章が登場することもある。

”The fact is that〜”は「実はthat（〜の内容）である」
