BTS ARMY is already naturally running like a DAO, it’s just extremely decentralized and people contribute for absolutely free. Will making an actual DAO deflate our enthusiasm or not? Would love to do more thought experiments around this.

The current irl problems like certain orgs and companies (such as Grammys and Ticketmaster) screw them and the fans up so much every year, could be one big reason web3 type setup could be beneficial.

When HYBE (parent co for BTS) announced they’re looking into going into the NFT space, my initial reaction was F NO. However, looking more into the potential benefits and comparing to the current system is doing for them esp in the US, I now think it’s not that bad of an idea.
