Verification Requirements

Runs must begin with no existing save data on the user profile.

Submissions must be recorded with original video feed and audio. If recording via webcam, footage must be clear and visible at all times. Important UI elements must not be hidden in a way that makes them unreadable or hides information. This includes HP bars and text boxes.

Submissions must specify:

• Real-time (RTA) duration.
• The selected language.
• Whether the run was on a physical (cartridge) or digital copy of the game.
• The version of the game (shown on the splash screen).
• Whether the Background Audio option is set to 0 at any point in the run.
• Whether a controller with "turbo" functionality was used [[pending discussion]]

General Rules

Event Pokemon (including the Jirachi/Mew obtainable from owning Let's Go or Sword/Shield) are not allowed.

Usage of any online functionality is not allowed.

Usage of any Communication Features (such as local trading, etc) is not allowed.

Runs must be done in the English or Japanese language.
