The massive rental taking shape on West 52nd Street, between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues, has now launched leasing on its 392 apartments, that are spread out between two buildings.

The Handel Architects-designed rental features studios through two-bedrooms with prices on the studios starting at $2,970 per month. Rents have been rising in Hell’s Kitchen over the past couple of years, and the median rent stands well above $3,000 per month here.

At 525 West 52nd Street, rents go up to $6,664 per month for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit on the 15th floor, in the northern tower of this development. The section fronting to the north stands 24 stories tall, and the one to the south is 14 stories. The rental also comes with 79 affordable apartments, the lottery for which launched in April last year.

Some of the standout features from the rentals here include the views of the Hudson River, the state of the art appliances including Bosch washers and dryers, and tall ceilings. Many of the rentals here also come with terraces that offer views of the river.

The rental project overall features a 10,000-square-foot, block-through lobby, which comes with a two-level landscaped atrium, and wood ceilings. The amenities are equally showy here like the 15,000-square-foot courtyard with bocce courts, a roof terrace on the 15th floor, a library stocked by The Strand bookstore, a fitness center, and a sports lounge with two golf simulators.

Developed by Taconic Investment Partners and Mitsui Fudosan America, the project got underway in the summer of 2015. In April last year, the massive rental topped out, and later that year, the developers unveiled a teaser site for the project. Now, the first set of residents are expected to move in starting June 1.
