Don't comment much, but as someone who was a bus driver for quite a few years during college: No. Unless you live in a rich area where kids are all really well behaved it's pretty hell, and since you are young they will take advantage of that unless you are really on top of behavior. The pay is nice, and doing activity stuff like sports and what not is pretty chill, but every morning and afternoon is super not worth the money. Better off just being a server anon.

Yeah trade school or college is all good. Unless you think you can swing something really tedious like owning a service sector business like a landscape business or janitorial service (tried it, gets old). Or go work on a ship in Alaska seasonally or become a oil roughneck. Trade school offers welding, fire sprinkler installer, electricial lineman, etc. it’s stable and many unions will even pay for you to do it and hire you. If you’re not that heavy duty (like me) look into becoming a medical assistant or radiology assistant or something indoors so your back isn’t gone out and skin sun spotted by the time you’re 50. It’s what I’m thinking about doing at 28 bc it has taken me way longer than I had hoped to find out what I wanted to do.

Also I was thinking about getting a job. I posted a lot to this one textboard — 4-ch.net — and even though I posted as anonymous the community there is so small that they can tell that it is me posting (due to the qualities and stuff in my posts) and sometimes insult me for perceived oddness. This is some gay shit. At least 4chan is big enough where you can spot individual posters over the years even though they are posting "anonymously". /b/ has become very lame in a regard that 4-ch is free of though; 4chan /b/ now has such a forceful anti-spam thing that many non-spam posts are not allowed.
