I created NFT art and auctioned it on OpenSea. I think it will be the last time I will use NFTs.

There is little NFT art which has a context as art in October 2021. NFTs have become the Greater Fool Theory what everyone thinks someone will buy them for a higher price because neither sellers nor buyers understand how they work, and only prices bought and sold are news.

Through the process of auctioning off the NFT which is a part of this work, I would like to point out the problems of NFT art and propose the use of NFTs as a part of art materials such as canvas and clay, instead of using them as containers to store meta-information of art.

It is my sincere hope that this work will become a topic of conversation and that everyone will gain a better understanding of NFT art, and that artists will adopt NFTs as new expressions of art rather than as investment products.

Thank you for sharing this. More people need to know why they're a problem, and why NFTs aren't just harmful but deceptive. This also extends to other languages.
