Updated vaccination status #covidgraph for 1 November 2021. Fully vaccinated people are only 7% of cases and 1.2% of hospitalisations - that's just three people out of 260. Vaccination massively reduces your chances of becoming seriously ill or needing the hospital.

A recent survey found that many parents of 5 to 11-year-olds worry vaccines might negatively impact children's fertility. But doctors and public health officials say this is not a concern "We have no reason to believe that there would be any impact of the vaccine on fertility"

18% of the total population was vaccinated August 17th. Today, 75% of the ELIGIBLE population is fully vaccinated. 63% total are fully vaccinated. Stop doing this. Stop conflating the eligible population with the total population.

NZ has gone from 18% fully vaxxed on Aug 17, to 75% today, in under 11 weeks. Whatever people are bitching about (and yes the unequal approach to those most vulnerable is particularly frustrating), but can we be thankful that that's quite an amazing feat of public health.

Vaccines have always been meant to prevent illness. Never in history has one been created to lessen the effects, decrease symptoms, or safeguard from hospitalization due to an illness. Changing the rules left and right is always about control.

There is no ethical or rational basis for mandating a vaccine that doesn’t reliably prevent recipients from spreading a disease to others.
