苹果开的这个头就看x86会不会把💩跟着加上了,
不过我个人意见是,消费级x86就算上L4也不可能走苹果这条路:Sapphire Rapids已经开始试着在服务器平台上搞多芯片封装了,带宽是900G/s。代价就是只能BGA封装,加不了盖,还不兼容传统散热器。i和a的产品线可没能力再搞一个内存容量细分。
然后虽然400G的UMA带宽看起来非常吓人,大部分应该是为了显示和视频处理相关准备的。目前的应用你想跑满这个400G困难,访存延迟还在摆烂。但是AMD和Intel会不会借着win11发力把核显驱动的UMA内存拉起来倒是个问题:现在只要把独享跑满,用到共享gpu内存就直接帧率-50%,容易出low。猜一下苹果是不是也跑满了独享空间到共享空间,所以才挂了个low?
btw,如果是这样消费级x86的apu倒是可以做下类似的工作。毕竟苹果到现在还没放出自家UMA的spec,那就只能看AMD之前搞的成果推测一下了。
其他的倒没啥好分析的点了。顺便之前在牌厂测了一下arm的服务器,和推测一样:敌在io,同频纯计算是比x86快50%的。

求助群友,对于一个已经vmalloc的指针,如何看这个指针所指的空间范围啊,kmalloc的话可以通过ksize函数,vmalloc似乎没有对应的,且测试了ksize函数会gg,自己替换vmalloc然后统计的话似乎开销有点大

最近糊各种一号山的感悟:一个东西不能进Kernel mainline一定是有原因的
我想收回这句话了,主线里面的冷门模块也非常Buggy,pblk和nandsim在我做毕设期间都能让我发现bug。或许这些模块需要充分fuzz?
