Cubs name Jose Quintana Game 1 starter, add Hector Rondon to NLCS roster

LOS ANGELES — The Cubs selected left-hander Jose Quintana as their Game 1 starter Saturday night and adjusted their 25-man roster for the National League Championship Series by adding reliever Hector Rondon and dropping left-hander Justin Wilson.

Rondon could serve as insurance since closer Wade Davis threw 2 1/3 innings and 43 pitches in Thursday's NL Division Series-clinching win at Washington.

Wilson pitched in only one NLDS game.
