Need to measure!
Not in a clinical trial but in a lab. This is how we should be measuring the accuracy of all these tests. Quickly and rigorously. Without messing around w clinical trials for diagnostics that offer little useful information

Every developed country should be ashamed if they do not provide this to every person as per need. Not ashamed , but frankly stupid. It is well done to the UK and NHS.

Every country fullstop.
The U.K. has opted to fail quite deeply on a lot of aspects of covid but I can at least go online and order a free pack of seven tests today and they’ll drop through my door tomorrow. And which point I can order another pack immediately. (I do think this will wind down soon)

*at which point
Can that also test for horse worms? I forgot to take my Ivermectin today! So pathetic that the richest country in the world can't get simple, cheap, reliable rapid tests to every citizen.

pathetic? or planned? The right people wouldn't get rich with those tests
I just brought brought back 10 rapid tests from Germany. They were well under $20.

I just had someone last night ask me about whether importing a bunch of tests from elsewhere was an option. I told him I had no idea. Hm.
(The conversation was around figuring out how to run a dance and minimize transmission risk)

I am sick to my stomach that these are not readily available here in the US. This is starting to look like corruption, and not just an oversight.

Had a large supply of EU authorized rapid tests from Lepu medical used in Austria early in year which I purchased before the FDA cracked down on all the imports. Got me through until recently- none left and cant get anymore sadly it was a good test

Try these for $2 a pop

Same company, similarly accurate, slightly less user friendly
If we really wanted to solve the Pandemic and get things back to normal, we could mass produce those tests for less than $1 each. Everybody could test regularly and only isolate if sick….explain why I’m wrong.

I really want to know if those COVID DTC tests are accurate & reliable. Do you have any positive & negative control humans?
