Sake Day is October 1st, the one day every year the world comes together to celebrate our favorite beverage: SAKE! If you’d like to join in on the fun, you can take part in Sake Day USA. There are two ways to join us.
Join us in person…
If you’re in NYC, you can purchase a ticket for $25 to join us in person at the Brooklyn Kura Taproom in Industry City. We’ll have a sake tasting sampler for each guest and some sake tasting games and fun education by our Local Sake Somms and Sake Samurai. Snacks are also provided. There will be a cash bar to enjoy Brooklyn Kura sake throughout the night. Proof of vaccination and photo ID is required to attend this event in person. The in person tasting event will be at Brooklyn Kura, 68 34th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232, 6:30pm-9pm, Friday, Oct 1, 2021
OR Join us online for Free…
If you’re not in NYC or miss the ticket sales, you can join in on the fun. Grab a sake and log onto our livestream to us in the tap room by visiting our free Livestream. Anyone can join and we’ll be checking in with our online visitors throughout the night. This event will be free on ZOOM for anyone who pre-registers. The livestream will run 6:30pm-9pm on ZOOM. The access link will be available to you after you register online.

The American Sake Association (ASA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal of educating individuals about sake while raising funds for charities approved by the Association. We welcome anyone to join our events and learn about sake. The Association is a network of individual members and all are welcome! Companies, shops and corporations are not able to join as members but are welcome as partner-sponsors.
