Delighted to meet Mr Watanabe of JA to receive fresh Fukushima peaches. I tried the peaches when I went to Fukushima to watch Australia play Japan in softball, and they were lovely. I was thrilled to try some from a vending machine – it was a novel experience!

#Tokyo2020 victory bouquet flowers were grown in Fukushima, Iwate, and Miyagi, all devastated by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Delicious cuisine using high quality produce from these areas also available at Athletes' Village.
