In March this year, 4 sexual assault cases (including 2 incest cases) ended with not-guilty verdicts.
In order to protest these gross injustices, and to stand in solidarity for survivors, the next “Flower Demonstration Movement” will take place on Wednesday, 11th September on the following 21 places all over Japan.
Survivors of rape and sexual assault can speak out their feelings and share their own story in an atmosphere of safety, and participants encourage them, holding flowers on their hands to show their support. The demonstrations have been held nationwide, on 11th of every month since last April.
