The terms of use set out below provide details of the terms of using “CALL4”, a platform website specialized in lawsuits（https://www.call4.jp/）(“this website” or “CALL4”). CALL4 is owned by a general incorporated association, Citizen’s Platform for Justice (CPJ). Please read the terms of use carefully. By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the terms of use below. Printing out/saving a copy of the terms of use is recommended. Below is the basics of the terms of use.
- This website aims to be a bridge between a plaintiff, defendant, support group, defence counsel (“Case Owners”) of a lawsuit to solve social issues (“Public Law Litigation”) and people who support Public Law Litigation to bring a change into a society. CPJ does not file Public Law Litigation or lobby for Public Law Litigation.
- This website offers a crowdfunding service. Through this website, you can directly donate to Case Owners of Public Law Litigation. All donations benefit Case Owners with the exception of credit card handling fees and remittance fees. CPJ does not charge any intermediate fees.

Case Owners agree to the terms of using the Case Page (“Agreement”). Whereas they are obligated to items in Agreement (ex. the duty to report on a legal project for which funding is sought (“Case”)), Case Owners do not have any obligations toward any of CALL4 users or any third party. Especially;
- Case Owners do not have a duty to report a donation accounting.
- Case Owners do not guarantee the win of the Case.
- Case Owners do not provide any incentive, compensation, or dividend.
- Case Owners are not subject to any donators or third parties regarding the process and the content of a Case, actions in the Case, or actions relating to the Case.
- CPJ does not guarantee the completion and/or the consequence of a lawsuit on CALL4. CPJ does not provide with any judicial opinions or any support for a particular Case. CPJ does not posses control over any Cases or does not have the right to edit a webpage of each Case. CPJ is not responsible for/does not supervise the accuracy, lawfulness, or validity of a Case.
- CPJ is a nonprofit general incorporated association. The obligations of CPJ are exclusively bound to the terms of use. Especially note that CPJ does not possess the obligation to report the accounting of the each individual donation it received while it has the obligation to report an accounting which all the general incorporated associations are required to do.
- CPJ will process the refund of your donation when cancelled within 48 hours of donating. If you need to cancel your donation on CALL4, please send an email to refund@call4.com including the name used when registering for the donation and the date of the donation.

※ The governing language of this Terms shall be Japanese. The English translation foregoing is an summary only for reference purpose. If there is any contradiction between the English language version as the summary of the terms and the Japanese language version, then the wording of the Japanese version shall prevail.
