This exhibition in the first year of "The 6th Science, Technology, and Innovation Basic Plan" will convey the fun and importance of science and technology with over 200 exhibits related to Society 5.0, SIP2, ImPACT3, and innovations from national research institutes.

What is Society 5.0?
Society 5.0 is a human-centered society that will meld virtual cyberspace with real physical space
to strengthen the economy and resolve social issues.
It’s the next phase in history following the hunting (Society 1.0), agricultural (Society 2.0), industrial (Society 3.0) and information (Society 4.0) revolutions.
Society 5.0 was first proposed in Japan as part of the 5th Science, Technology, and Innovation Basic Plan by the Cabinet Office.

The exhibition welcomes you with a SHINKAI 6500 submersible mockup, digital globe and other displays that symbolize cutting-edge science and technology.

Enjoy large exhibits on outer space and the ocean — two frontiers of science and technology — and experience Japan's world-class technology. Another exhibit presents the realization of Society 5.0 by Japanese companies.

Vision
This exhibit is divided into five zones that help visitors understand what kinds of science and technology are being developed to create a future society and how they can contribute. It represents the future of science and technology.

Fascinating science and technology videos from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) and JAMSTEC (Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology) will be dynamically presented. Lectures by leading scientists in science and technology are also available on our website.
