Does your game crash during flight missions? I only remember having crashes in aircraft, no problem walking or driving. Made a habit of saving game before flying.
It starts using more and more memory as I play, eventually crashing due to a memory error and reverting my saves to a save roughly 1 min before the last time I saved
Seriously does no one know how to fix them? having to manually exit the game after playing a little over 40 min and not being able to play full screen since I have to keep it windowed to see how much its leaking is something I would like to not have to do
I don't recall having definite memory leak problems when I played it several years ago on a system with 4GB of RAM. The game crashed sometimes, but it didn't seem to be related to playtime, I think. That was on Windows XP, though.
I have Boiling point on a Disk, but I have an issue with the saves getting corrupted. About halfway in the game I lost all my save files due to a corruption of sorts. I downloaded the patch 2.0, and it has a ton of fixes, but idk if it fixes the save problem. I haven't tested yet, because I don't want to re-play half of the game again just to test it right now.
I don't know what to tell you. I've learned to create multiple save files (not quicksaves or autosaves) just in case something like that happens. I was supposed to free a prisoner for the mafia, but I could not interact with him because he was in the spawn stage (his arms were pointing down and out to his left and right sides at a 45 degree angle), so I could not interact with him and complete the mission. I wish there were more support for this game. A console command would most likely have been able to fix the glitch, but I had no such information, and had to give up on the mission.
