2/ The third dose produces a 20x-40x peak of antibodies compared to the second dose. And post-second-dose protection peaks at 90-95% for a few weeks. (It doesn’t last.)These people should be in that window, with HIGHER titers. They should have ~full protection. Why don’t they?

3/ The bias in favor of vaccinating healthy older people who can tolerate shots that exists for the first two doses is probably even higher for the third. Again, this means the numbers are WORSE than they seem based on the topline ratios.

If a 92 year old got the 10th shot what is the odds of them living to 93? Too many potential confounders here to draw inferences.

Ok - so 1.1 Million received booster - (starting Aug 1 through 8/20) but we don’t know how many from 8/1-8/13 (since they don’t count infection until 7 days after booster) - but at best - 2790 cases since 8/8 (12 days) of boosted patients

I don't understand the math there..187 (hospitalized) as a percentage of 2790 is 6.7% and 88 (serious symptoms) as a percentage of 2790 is 3.15%

Or you just didn't read the actual article. 1.1 million people have gotten a third dose. 2790 of those 1.1 million people have tested positive, and 88 of those 1.1 million are seriously ill, while 15 have died.

Pretty much the same percentage as the number of people hospitalized who contracted covid then. You're figures are starting to proven to be wrong. The MSM and BBC will eventually have to tell the truth, just to survive.!

If we use the same absolute numbers - 4.44 million deaths divided by 7.9 billion people on the planet, your odds of dying are .05% If that were actually true, we could just do nothing.

May have been better than doing something just for the sake of doing something. The fatality rate is low and we should have never gone to the extremes we did.

Why would Israel do this to its own people? I suppose the same could be asked of many countries...but it is especially worrisome in this case, considering that preservation of its people has always been the number one concern.

Nurses and nursing home workers must refuse to vax. It will be like the Vietnam Vets who threw away their medals. When those who know the most about vax effects and have most invested in other peoples' care say "No!" it speaks volumes. I, also, will make them fire me.

I guess I want more details about the patients because it’s assumed in these stats that these are vibrant healthy people, when, to this point, this is not the people who die or get seriously ill. Big picture, the vaccine is unnecessary for a huge majority.

So the data and the article clearly demonstrate that the booster shots in Israel are incredibly effective at stopping hospitalization and death. Thanks for the fear porn however Alex.

let's keep the negative turn in Israel in perspective. Israel Vaccination Rates 63% Positive Tests rate 2% Hospitalization* rate 13 per 100K vs Florida FL vaccination rate: 51% Positive Test Rate: 19.9% Hospitalization Rate: 80 per 100K
