Lost your COVID-19 vaccination card? Here's how to get a copy.
As coronavirus cases across the nation balloon again due to the delta variant, Americans may soon need to prove they're vaccinated.
Many national companies, including Walmart, Walgreens and United Airlines, are beginning to require some or all of their workers be vaccinated.
In Jackson, Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba said on Monday city of Jackson employees will soon need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide proof once a week that they don't have the coronavirus.
While it's easy enough to prove being vaccinated by simply producing a vaccination card — a flimsy piece of card stock which doesn't quite fit into a wallet — the card is all too easy to misplace.

So, what do you do if you lose it?
The Mississippi State Department of Health's website says the agency does not provide replacement vaccination cards. However, residents can log into MyIR, an online service that partners with state health departments to store immunization records, for access to COVID-19 vaccination records.
According to Mississippi State Department of Health Director of Immunization Jennifer Fulcher, residents can call the 601-576-7751, for help setting up a MyIR account. Citizens also can request a mailed copy of individual immunization records.
To sign up without help, individuals can register online at www.myirmobile.com. The process takes only a few minutes.
Once on the website, go to the register tab in the top right corner and click on Mississippi, then enter a name, e-mail address and password to create an account.
Individuals will need to provide basic information, including their birth date, phone number and street address, to access the immunization records.
