Anyone else having the same problem?
Be careful with the saving. It seems like the game doesn't make one specific file for autosaving, so once you make a manual save it seems to autosave on that new file. So I would make two saves just in case, and really pay attention to the time when I saved, so I could keep track of everything.
It should work. When you manual save and then leave then come back, it will take you to the last shrine you visited, not the exact place you last were
I like how open world the game looks and how zoomed out the camera is, making our protagonist much smaller and making the giants super huge.
Despite owning a PS2 when I was younger and owning a ton of awesome games such as Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Crash Bandicoot games, some Kingdom Hearts, or even 3rd party such as Ultimate Spider-Man, X-Men Origins Wolverine, Tak, Looney Tunes Back In Action, and many more.
Anyhoo, I never owned this game but I really really want to play it. Which is better, the original PS2 version or remastered version? And are there any new games coming out?
My favourite would have to be basaran and my least favourite is celosia
Im gonna start off by saying that yes, the sword jump method is faster. However, the method is very unreliable unless you've practiced it for hours. If youre just a casual player, youll waste more time trying to get the sword jump than if you were to do the fight normally and break the armor.
So the method I recommend is break the armor normally. The killer of this fight is the sigil on Gaius' arm. The amount of shaking and stamina drain on this sigil can be brutal. With that being said, the order of the sigils that you destroy can make the fight a little easier.
Start with the normal way, break the armor, run up the sword and climb up to the head. Once you take the head sigil out, make your way down to the stomach. The stomach sigil is the easiest one to take out, and even better, there is a very stable ledge around his belt-line that you can use to regain all of your lost stamina so you can start with a full amount before taking out the sigil on the arm. Stand on the left side of Gaius on his ledge around the belt line, and line up the jump from the stomach to the left arm. You should be able to land almost exactly on the sigil requiring very little adjustment, thus saving you a little more stamina. With a full stamina meter, it should be a bit easier to try and take out the arm. I spent way more time than I would have liked on this fight, trying different methods, and this one was the one that was most successful.
TLDR: Break armor > Take out head sigil > drop to belly > take out belly sigil > regain stamina > jump from belly to left arm > take out arm sigil.
I need mental support. After 10 years I went back to this fantastic game. My goal is to get all the trophies (PS3 version). I played through the game 6 times (Normal, Normal Time Attack, Normal 3 more times for max stamina, Hard).
The only thing I am missing is Coloss #3 Gaius in Hard Time Attack. 5 Minutes in Hard Time Attack mode is not possible. I am trying for days now.
With every other coloss I had progress after a while. But #3 shakes so much, I can’t get a hit in. Starting over is so frustating because it takes 2 minutes to get in position. How am I supposed to destroy 3 weak points in 3 minutes?
I watched a lot of videos (different sword jumps (arm and belly) + regular strategy) but I can’t do it myself.
This game is about to break me. It is not even funny anymore. I usually don’t rage but I am about to break my screen. I have started cursing (which I normally wouldn’t do).
Please help me. I need words of encouragement and maybe some tips on how to stop #3 from shaking all the time.
Thank you so much.
When I have completed all the time attacks on either hard or normal do I have to complete the story for it to save before switching to the other difficulty?
Because I did all normal time attacks, didn't finish the story and then did NG+ hard on that save and only had the first 2 items from it.
Was quite odd.
Im pretty sure I got every lizard btw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji_slRovrmk im curious to know the name of the song from 2:33 in the video. Thank you.
I’ve decided to get the platinum for SotC, but I haven’t done any of the side content in a while. My question is do I have to do everything (collecting fruits, lizard tails, climbing the temple, etc.) before I beat Malus?
If I fight every collosus on hard mode, will all of the images and items that say I need to play on normal and easy mode be unlocked?
