Nox Quest adds new multiplayer modes and patches the game to version 1.2.

The Origin version includes this patch, but does not enable it by default.^[4]

Nox GUI is an unofficial launcher patch which improves compatibility with Windows 7+.^[5]

Warrior Ch. 10 Map 2 Fix provides fixes for the Warrior Chapter 10 Map 2 .map file, which prevented two secrets from triggering correctly.^[6]

This game has an AUTOSAVE folder and Save Slots 1-13. The Working folder saves your current map discovery progress, as well as other activated triggers in maps you've already been to, etc. Do note that the Autosave folder has it's own working folder, so that's something to keep in mind.

Run Nox in Windows 98 / Windows ME compatibility mode to avoid this issue.

The GOG.com version already includes this fix.

Right-click the Nox shortcut (or `NOX.EXE`). Choose Properties. On the Compatibility tab choose Run this program in compatibility mode for. Choose Windows 98 / Windows ME. Click OK to save your changes.

"Westwood Online is not installed on this computer" error • Link[edit]

Enable Quest add-on for Origin version • Link[edit]

Modify registry settings^[4]
Go to `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\` If the key `Westwood` doesn't exist then right-click the key from above, add a new Key and name it `Westwood` Right-click `Westwood` and add a new Key and name it `Nox` Right-click `Nox` and add a new DWORD, name it `SKU`, and give it a hexadecimal value of `2500`. Click OK.
