They had been issuing content ID flags and taking all proceeds, but backed off under community pressure. Pushing back now.

Taking proceeds from unique content (commentary/personal gameplay) is theft as far as I’m concerned.

Record/commentate footage, do post work, upload 20-30 mins of stuff a day and say that’s not a job

Actually within YouTube guidelines, remixes are allowed freely. As long you mention the original in some fashion.
