Sweden’s
pro-herd govt official Tegnk was DEAD wrong. With deadly consequences. He predicted Sweden’s spring wave would prevent 2nd #COVID19 fall/winter wave. He was ‘Scott Atlas-wrong’. “Herd immunity” arrogance costs lives. How arrogant was Tegnell?

2) Behold Swedish official Tegnell’s herd immunity arrogance... it is just dripping with smugness and dismissive carelessness about people’s lives. (Figure in English, Swedish, German).

3) Sweden's chief epidemiologist has admitted that the country is now experiencing a second wave of coronavirus **despite** previously predicting that the country's no-lockdown policy would prevent another surge.

5) “We see community spread in many regions simultaneously right now," Tegnell now says, according to Reuters.
Tegnell may be wrong, but at least he’s coming clean he that was dead wrong about herd. Unlike Trump’s advisor Scott Atlas, who is both wrong and doesn’t admit it.

7) wrote a whole thread yesterday on Sweden’s here approach. Basically it’s perfectly fine—that is, if you don’t care who lives or dies. And all for no economic gain either.

8) For those still clamoring about “but but but what about deaths???” Good question. Here is Swedish #COVID19 deaths versus Scandinavian neighbors per capita. Hmmmm... Sweden
death rate is 5x Denmark and 10x Finland and Norway. So dangerous.

Not as long lasting, but maybe we could call 100,000 new infections per day a Scott Atlas (200k would be 2 Atlases) and 1000 deaths/day is a Trump. (Is 3000/day a trump wives day?)

It's a f*cking disaster. In some parts of the country we've been having more infected in just 1 day than 10% of the total combined for 9 months.
Still they are holding out and holding tight on their strategy, whatever they want to call it, it is not working.

He is a disaster for Sweden. What makes it even worse is that he has been marketing the Swedish strategy abroad. People in Sweden and in other countries are dying because of the strategy he advocates.

Hey Dr FD , we got 150 people with re-infection. Officially being investigated by the state epidemiologist. Maybe you can add them to your table? hahaha...*sigh*

What are the implications of re-infection for the efficacy of vaccination?
And the implications for the justifications for, and long term sustainability of, lockdowns?

Oct 24th "Staff at the
mink farm must also have been found to be infected with the virus. It has not been determined whether there is any connection between the infection in the minks and in the staff, although it can be assumed, writes the Swedish Board of Agriculture. "Link

1.3% general death rate. Strokes & heart disease in young patients. Visible damage to lungs, heart, brain, blood vessels, & reproductive organs. Crowded hospitals cause others to suffer & die. So, no, not just 85 year olds.

The Swedish people were guinea pigs in a costly experiment. Hopefully we have all learned from this.

70% of Swedes still supported him a few weeks ago. It’s insane. It became some kind of messed up nationalistic mission for a lot of Swedes, including many journalists, to prove we didn’t get it wrong. But we’re beginning to see a shift. Just this last week something has changed.
