No auto or manual saves?

I'm playing through the game on hard mode. I started Ground Zero (Act 2 / Part 2) and made by way to the very end with the cutscene with Paul and the chopper. I accidentally died during the time stutter because I wasn't sure where to go and when the game loaded up it started me all the way at the beginning of the chapter.

This continues to happen. If I die midway through the level, it starts me off at the very beginning and will not save even though it WILL show all the items that I picked up (100% for the level) and my time powers are advanced because I found all the upgrades as well.

Yeap, that sort of thing happens.

There is no manual saves, and using the menu to reverse place in the timeline removes future story (so for the choices do your unchoosen option & then reload.... & pick up the collectables as needed.. its fiddly to say the least..

As on the very final fight (mostly because I didnt know what ws going on & which each stage required) - you might want to lower difficulty & then ramp it back up once you know the plan.

this still an issue or has there been a patch puts me of plaiyn it

Would also like to know the same. With a newborn I need to be able to constantly save and drop/close a game at a moments notice and often not come back for a while.

Not starting a game that doesn't have constant saving capability or at least VERY regular checkpoints,
