Biography

I am the bestselling author of more than 300 books for children and young adults. I remember going into books a million, walking up to the cashier and asking them if they finally got the runescape book in. After weeks of trying the guy finally said yes! I saved up my money and bought it right away. On the ride home i was already reading it. Nothing but excitement and pure joy came from this book. All these memories and feelings came back as this book came in the mail. Thank you.

Nice novelty item for those who've been playing Runescape for a long time. Nice nostalgic vibes. However, ALL of the info is very outdated and/or useless. I only recommend this to people looking for it as a collectible and not as actual game advice. Actual quality of the book is as expected. A little disappointing I couldn't find the poster that's supposed to be in it. All in all, a cute memento of the past.

Bought this knowing that there weren't many still out there that are in decent condition and include the removable material but the description said minimal wear and tear while not mentioning anything about missing the additional materials. Thought I'd give it a shot.

The one I received blew my expectations out of the water! Minimal wear on the edges of the front and back covers, but the internal pages are completely untouched and still includes the insert! Couldn't be happier with my choice of purchase!!

I expected better quality for the price, but I did buy it though prime specifically for the wait time in shipping. The only bad thing about it is the front bottom right hand corner is bent, and close to falling apart, but other than that it's in good shape. No writing or tears as described. Cant wait to gift it!

A lot of the negative reviews come from people who don't actually know what they're buying. It's an outdated guide from 2006 so the only real reason to buy it is for sentimental value if you're an old player of the game and just want to have this because you love RuneScape. That's why I bought it and that's what I got. I love it.

This arrived super fast, the information inside is slightly outdated and indeed it should be, the book was made back in 2006. If you're after a super up to date guide that teaches you all the tips and tricks this isn't for you. If you're after a wonderful piece of Runescape nostalgia then this is definitely the book for you. The maps, the item icons the level unlocks, all beautiful and wonderfully nostalgic. An excellent piece of RS history and it also contains a helpful 2 page "Staying Safe Online" if you've got young children who are going online for the first time then this book may be worth it just for the helpful and easy to read online safety guide.

I bought this book in the hopes of getting a cheeky tip or two. However upon reading I discovered it's a beginners guide to Runescape. It has none of the newer skills as it's a rather old book. It's written as though it was aimed at approx. 11 year olds, and explains all that is explained on tutorial island.

Now I'm quite a high level, so I'll be keeping the book for the fan novelty. But I have to say it helped me very little. I'd only buy it for my child as it goes through online safety.

Really only bought the book for the nostalgia since I started back in 2006 when the book came out, My book came from a library in HS, texas, and contained the poster still perfectly in it; which was great, all together really happy for the purchase, if you're looking to buy the book for an actual guide; don't. but definitely do it for a piece of RS's history.
