Dialectic or "dialectic":
Thesis: It is the future, but there are no flying cars
Antithesis: Wrong, they're called helicopters and/or planes
Synthesis: Take a tandem rotor helicopter and build a large frame around it which is secured to the helicopter. Attach parts to the frame so it looks like a huge car. Bam, you can now flying around any car you want as a "flying car". You could have a "flying car" version of a T-bird, a Model T, an F-250, an Ford F-150, a Buggati(sp?) Chevron, a 1997 Buick LeSabre, a Buggati Veyron, a 1980s/1990s Toyota Landcruiser, a 2010s Alantra, a Formula 1, the Gravedigger Monster Truck, a Kia Spectre (Spectra?), a Lamborghini, a Dodger Charger, a Dodge Hellcat(?), a Ford Raptor(?), a Ford F-650(?), a limousine, a Hummer, a Hummer limousine, a NASCAR, etc. You could have any flying car or any flying truck, except all of them are really just a helicopter, and they all don't drive on land: defeats the purpose of the flying car idea?
I wonder if any tandem rotor helicopter can drive on land.
I pull up to the street race with my tandem rotor helicopter like "Bruh, wait until the v tech kicks in."

I've heard that before electric starters cars would start via cranking a crank or crankshaft which would start the combustion reaction needed to make the engine run.
P.S. Anyone watch the series "Outlander" on Netflix? It is sorta dumb and sorta binge-watching-able/interesting.
