I think this is season 1 of Breaking Bad. I remember watching those videos years ago.

I know of a story about a mother who was late to pick up her son from middle school. I think they had an agreement that if she was late then he would start walking home and she would pick him up along the way. So he and a another student were walking home together. She was late because she was watching "Breaking Bad". He did a front flip while walking home and this resulted in a broke leg. So while she was watching "Breaking Bad", her son was breaking his leg.
