And here is our second publication about new receptors: https://bit.ly/2U5BFyT.
This time we used them to show boosted anion transport through the lipid membranes (also pH-switchable transport!).
Let me know what do you think about it

Here is the whole story of our sensors: https://bit.ly/3AXR9FO.
There are more anions binding studies and discussions about the genesis of receptor deprotonation.

[Unexpected twist]
I'm forced to reload my #ISMSCPoster. Thank you for all activities on the previous (deleted) Tweet!
Here it is! "Carbazole-Based Colorimetric Anion Sensors".
Feel free to ask questions
Finally got my second dose of the vaccine
Side effects? Without a doubt...
Uncertainty? Sure.
Fear of long-term effects? Of course...
BUT!
Trust and responsibility above all!

And thanks to all the inspiring scientists in the field of supramolecular chemistry who study the transport of anions. Their papers aroused my interest in this subject #AnionTransport#SupramolecularChemistry

New Research: Boosting Anion Transport Activity of Diamidocarbazoles by Electron Withdrawing Substituents: Artificial chloride transporters have been intensely investigated in view of their potential medicinal applications. Recently, we have… https://frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fchem.2021.690035?utm_source=S-TWT&utm_medium=SNET&utm_campaign=ECO_FCHEM_XXXXXXXX_auto-dlvrit…#chemistry
Another interesting seminar is coming. The natural transport of amino acids is extremely important for proper cell regulation. Therefore, synthetic transporters may find useful applications. #vMASC

Very simple but extremely effective change in anion transporter's structure. Check it out!
(Hope one day you will see this compound once again. And my name near it )

In transmembrane anion transporters, anionophores, thioureas usually outperform ureas. In collaboration with Michał J. Chmielewski we have demonstrated the usefulness of this trick using 1,8-di(thioamido)carbazoles. Just published in @RSCAdvanceshttps://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlelanding/2021/ra/d1ra01646f…
The subject of ion transport is close to me, so I watched today's presentation with great interest and understanding. Thank you, supramol community! #vMASC

"When I draw a molecule in China or in Argentina, it is the same molecule. People understand immediately without knowing Spanish or Chinese. That is beautiful. Our common goal is not about power or borders of the country, it is about bringing forward human knowledge." Ben Feringa
It was different and even difficult for some people. However, let's be honest, it wasn't SO bad...
