Questions:
Where were you scouted?
I was scouted here on the Gold Coast. I met a photographer who I took some portrait photos with. He sent the images to Que models and it went from there.
Where are you from and your background?
I was born on the Gold Coast and so far I’ve lived here my whole life. Both my parents were also born here, so I’m Australian born and bred.
Healthy morning ritual that you follow to kick start your day on a positive note?
The best thing for me in the mornings is to start my day stress free. I’m not much of a morning person and often struggle to wake up and get ready on time, which basically stresses me out for the rest of the day. So I think it’s important to allow your body some time in the mornings to wake up, and relax. No stress, just a nice breakfast and plenty of time to get ready.
What is your go-to favourite exercises for working out? Any sport that you like?
I play and train for netball a few times a week, which keeps me relatively fit. I also go to the gym a few times a week. My go-to workout would probably be an abs and glute workout, which is perfect when I don’t have much time. This is also usually accompanied by some cardio, mostly running, and some weighted exercises like barbell glute workout.
Your Favourite Meal of the day would be? Top three healthy snack options?
My favourite meal of the day is definitely dinner. I usually find breakfast and lunch meals kind of boring to me. However, dinner meals are so much more flexible and you can be a lot more creative. I’ve also got to say that I don’t always snack that heathy but I am obsessed with protein balls, Celery and peanut butter, and tortilla style protein chips with a homemade salsa.
As you’re still at school, what are you favourite subjects that you’re studying?
I like all science based subjects at school, but my favourite would have to be chemistry. It interests me a lot to find out how the world we live in works and what’s it’s made up of. I also enjoy the challenge.
Social Media really has been a game-changer. What are your goals to help others?
Social media really has changed the way we live and the opportunities we all have. I am a huge believer in the power of social media to really make a difference and help others. Although social media does have its downsides, I think our generation is lucky that we have a platform that we can get our points of views across on and have a voice in society. My goals on social media are to really educate others on issues involving our treatment of the environment. Especially here in Australia with our native wildlife. I also want to help others to realise that social media doesn’t have to be a negative place, if we all learn to accept ourselves and others for who we are.
What would be your number one piece of advice for any aspiring models?
I think it is so important for aspiring models to make sure they stay true to themselves. If you’re not confident in yourself then the image you portray to the world can become not your own. There are also a lot of fake people in the industry, so you’ve always got to be careful and remain true to yourself.
