TW: Transphobia, TERF, hate speech
I'm not sure when it happened but SUFW have put up a billboard on Manners Street. Is there anything we can do to get it taken down, or minimise the harm to our trans whānau?

last time a billboard got taken down we contacted the advertising standards authority!!

depending on the billboard company they’re often run by greedy, awful people that just want money and don’t care about harm they’re causing

Is there a sign on it saying who it belongs to? Is it a spot where there is usually a billboard?

I can't quite see any logos or information for who they went through to get it up. But yes, there is usually a billboard in that spot; I'm pretty sure the last thing I saw was a congratulatory message for recent graduates of a polytechnic.

It's hilarious, their twitter implies that Pro-Trans-Rights were brought in from overseas, but their website has only UK 'studies', sells 'I <3 JK' T-shirts, and they go around putting up hate-billboards that started in the UK.

If a billboard sign offends you, don’t look. It’s rude to go off about someone else’s sign. Just don’t look.
