Video footage shows the current situation in Kale, where people are queuing with their oxygen cylinders in front of an oxygen tank to get their oxygen refilled. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar #July9Coup

You should keep in mind that they are updating based on when they know something different rather than on a whim.

"Scientists say" - That's not good enough. Different timelines with percentages of chance when could all restrictions be removed are the bare minimum. These timelines should be officially recognized by the UN. If the gov's and UN can't fulfill them, pay reparations to citizens.

"Our"... you mean the ones invented by a Hungarian, perfected in Germany, and further developed by a company owned by a Canadian?

I’m still wearing a mask inside.
I’m fully vaccinated.
I believe the virus can still come back & bite Us on the bum.
Get vaccinated.

Nice explanation model
One point is in a closed population w/ high vaccination rates, we are safe no swiss cheese approach needed
We don’t currently have closed populations, so swiss cheese model is needed

Scientists have been saying that since the pandemic was announced, it's just that people are too thick to listen and insist on grouping in tight clusters and casting their masks away like it's the end of a war.

A new version with colour & division inspiration from @uq_news and strict mouse design oversight by @kat_arden (ver3.0).
It reorganises slices into personal & shared responsibilities (think of this in terms of all the slices rather than any single layer being most important)

But it still comes down to people who are not vaccinated. Unless they're forced to be vaccinated it is their choice not ours. As long as we are vaccinated we are protected. End of story.

All the great effort from the scientific/medical community is well appreciated, as well as those from serious government officials. It has saved countless lives. But at the end it's almost impossible to eradicate this coronavirus. We'll need to learn how to live with it.

Living with it doesn’t mean pretending it doesn’t exist, it means managing the risks.

You can't play both sides BBC. Excusing the herd immunity plan out one side of your mouth while trying to be the voice of reason out the other?

The more Swiss cheese the more holes. The more holes the less cheese. So the more cheese the less cheese

Isn't the immune system like a huge slab of aged parmesan underneath all the Swiss cheese?
